THREE Romsey men were arrested at Southampton Central station following a fight aboard a train.
A station employee received a broken nose in the incident which happened at about 11.15pm on Monday.
A South West Train driver and guard were also attacked along with a 39-year-old Romsey man during the fight which spilt over onto the platform while the train was waiting to depart for Romsey Station.
South Central Ambulance service treated the injured at the scene.
The station employee along with the Romsey man who suffered cuts and bruises were taken to Southampton General Hospital for further treatment.
British Transport Police and Hampshire Police were called to the incident.
Detective Sergeant Dave Peek of BTP, who is in charge of the investigation said: “Rail staff have the right to come to work without the fear of violence. BTP take all incidences of staff assault very seriously and we are doing all we can to bring those responsible to justice.
"I'd ask any who was on the 10.58pm train at the time and has not yet come forward to the police to do so. They might have crucial information about what happened.”
Three 20-year-old men and 19-year-old all from Romsey were arrested along with a man, aged 20, from Salisbury and released on bail until June 10 while detective carry out further enquiries.
