TWO Romsey sisters are making a tandem skydive over Salisbury Plain to raise cash for a Hampshire charity.

Gabby Gibbons, who was born with the congenital condition, spina bifda and water on the brain, has used Rose Road Association’s outreach service for many years and she’s teamed up with her sister, Felicity, to give something back to the Southampton-based charity.

They hope to raise in the region of £1,500 between them.

They will be making their 13,000ft jump at Netheravon on Saturday, July 12.

Staff from Rose Road’s Bradbury outreach centre in Southampton will be joining the two sisters on their skydive. The centre provides vital support to children and young people with complex and severe disabilities along with their families, including short breaks and trips to the cinema. Looking forward to the challenge, Felicity said: “Gabby and I are really excited about doing the jump for Rose Road. It is a great charity which we have both benefited from and we would like to give a little something back.”

“As a family, we believe that life is for living regardless of your ability, so if you would like what we are doing sponsor us,” said Gabby and Felicity.
