A TEST Valley author will be signing her latest books at a Romsey Christian centre tomorrow.
Anna Thayer is putting in an appearance at Oasis in Church Street as part of celebrations to mark the 30th anniversary of the shop’s opening. She will be autographing two books The Traitor’s Hair and The King’s Hand part of a trilogy of fantasy novels.
A further book in the series is due out next March. Anna, who lives at Andover, will be signing her books between 11am and 1pm.
Oasis manager Angie Nelson has this advice to Romsonians “come in and meet her and hear how she has put the tale of Eldaran into print with her publisher Lion Hudson.”
Angie said refreshments will be available along with special offers and some will be reflecting prices when the shop opened in 1984.
“These will continue into the following week with various chocolate sampling of the large, Fair Trade chocolate range, a store wide sale and much more,” added Angie.
An invitation only celebratory reception is being held at Romsey Abbey tomorrow afternoon. Romsey Male Voice Choir will be performing at the event.
