MEMBERS of the Inner Wheel of Romsey Test have raised a stack of cash for various charities.
More than 170 people took part in the charity quiz staged at Romsey’s Crosfield Hall last month. And £414 of the £2,774 raised is destined for Jane Scarth House – a befriending centre for people with cancer and relatives who care for them and the main prize in the draw was a doll’s house redecorated by a former Rotarian, which was won by Jim Parker.
Inner Wheel president Liz Purdie presented the doll’s house to Jim.
Other charities that will benefit from the quiz include Wings of Mercy and Mary’s Meals.
