VOLUNTEERS who have made a difference to the British Red Cross’s work in the North Baddesley area have been rewarded for their loyal service.
Staff were presented with British Red Cross service badges for their unstinting work in the community during a special four-course dinner held at North Baddesley Village Hall.
Those who were recognised for their service with the North Baddesley fundraising team included Rita Turvey and Audrey Wiggall (both 30 years) and Julia Scottorn for five years’ service with the organisation.
Each volunteer was given their badge by Colin Brown, the British Red Cross’s area director for Hampshire, Surrey and the Isle of Wight. A raffle held at the dinner raised £64 for British Red Cross funds.
