THE competition is hotting up and the challenges are getting trickier.

But Hampshire teenager Olivia Wardell is taking everything in her stride as she competes in Britain’s Next Top Model.

The TV show is throwing everything at the remaining contestants as they strive to become one of the most sought-after models in the country.

The 18-year-old, from Timsbury, applied for the show last year after being encouraged by boyfriend Will Brook, who believed she could win it. So on a whim, Olivia sent in an application and last night she made it into the final six of the completion.

Now she is one step closer to the lucrative winner’s prize of a modelling contract and a spread in a fashion magazine.

“I have learnt a lot and taken a lot from my journey on the show. Confidence is the biggest thing I have learnt and how to deal with the different types of photoshoots.”

Speaking about her chances of winning the show, Olivia said: “I think at the minute I am sailing through at a steady speed.

“I don’t think I am shining out, but just going alone, like a dark horse; I think everyone can have their good and bad moments.”

Episode seven airs next Thursday at 9pm on Lifetime. The series features some of the UK’s biggest names in fashion including Millie Mackintosh, Estee Lalonde, and Abbey Clancy.
