A HAMPSHIRE hospice will remember the lives of children at a special service in Winchester this week.

The Naomi House Light Up A Life service takes place at the cathedral at 2.30pm on Tuesday (Nov 27).

Based in Sutton Scotney, the hospice cares for children with life-limiting conditions along with sister site jacksplace which looks after teenagers and young adults.

Paula Flower, hospice fundraiser, said: “We are delighted to be holding our main Light Up A Life service at Winchester Cathedral. Many supporters find making a dedication at this time of year a really positive way to remember and celebrate the life of someone special.”

Staff will light candles at the service on behalf of anyone unable to attend and include names of those being remembers in a special book of memories.

Anyone wishing to attend should contact Ms Flower on 01962 843513 or email Paula.Flower@naomihouse.org.uk.

There will also be a smaller service at St Cross Church on December 20 from 7pm.
