Driver taken to hospital after road crash near Winchester
A DRIVER was taken to hospital this morning after emergency services were called to a collision near Winchester.
Two fire engines, conveying nine crew members, were called to the scene on the A31 near Chilcomb just after 8am.
One vehicle was involved and police believe it crashed into a road sign.
Fire fighters made the vehicle safe for paramedics to treat the patient.
Emergency services left the scene by 9.30am.
