TODDLERS from a Winchester care group were on a mission to bring some cheer to elderly residents this Christmas.
Around 15 toddlers from Tops Day Nursery headed to St Catherines View care home over the festive season.
The nursery’s assistant manager, Charlotte Lloyd, said: “It’s just to put a smile on the face of the residents there.
“The children have been practising the carols and looking forward to meeting grannies and granddads!”
The excursion was the brainchild of Rachel Lukacs, Tops’ manager, and Ms Lloyd.
The nursery is based at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital.
