WINCHESTER residents are being given the opportunity to attend Prime Minister’s Questions at the House of Commons.

Steve Brine, MP for Winchester and Chandler’s Ford, is holding a ballot for constituents to win three pairs of tickets to see Parliament in action.

He said: “PMQ’s, for all its faults, is often the event which sets the political and news agenda for the week, if not even longer sometimes.”

Mr Brine added that from previous years, he knows just how in demand the chance to visit Westminster is.

“I have always opened the allocations out to my constituents, and have had some incredible feedback over the past nearly four years from local people who have had the chance to go,” he said.

Rather than privately allocating the tickets, Mr Brine will be holding the ballots for PMQs on March 19, June 25 and November 26.
