THE anti-European Union political party has formed a new branch in the Meon Valley.
The UKIP Constituency Association says it will fight local elections as well as the Westminster seat, held by Tory George Hollingbery.
The party says its councillors will not be ‘whipped’ to vote as per party policy, contrary to the wishes of their electorate.
The branch chairman is Jamie Hartridge, vice-chairman is Jo Murray, treasurer Robert Bell, with Vivienne Young also on the committee.
It has launched a new website www.ukipmeonvalley.org.
