CHILDREN at Harestock Pre-school had an excellent time last week at their Easter coffee morning.
On Friday (April 4) the school, on East Woodhay Road, held the event in a bid to raise money for a new printer and other necessities, and chairman Kelly Skeats said it was a success.
“It went really well,” she said.
“We didn’t have Donald Duck there in the end, but we did have Mickey Mouse which the children loved. He came around and gave them all their Easter eggs.
“We had cakes, coffee and a raffle. The Entertainer in town gave us a £15 voucher, and Bear Factory in Southampton gave us £10.”
Tesco donated a £20 voucher, which was spent on providing Easter eggs, and the total raised from the event was £110.
