STUDENTS from Wyvern Technology College have been selected for a two-year surveying course.
Set up by surveyor David Bowen, the Hampshire Surveying Pathways course encourages students to choose surveying as a career, and nine Year 9 students have been selected.
They underwent a rigorous interviewing and selection process, before the final list was drawn up.
The course will see them gain a level two certificate in surveying, a workplace mentor, and automatic progression to college and/or an apprenticeship.
Lakesmere, Hampshire County Council, Gleeds and Evolution 5 are in on the scheme.
