RESIDENTS in Colden Common are being asked to give their opinions on the Parish Council’s proposal to move a recycling area.
The space, located at the Community Centre car park, may be moved to the rear of the centre to free up much-needed parking spaces to access Colden Common Primary School and the Co-operative shop.
The Parish Council aims to screen off the area to reduce the visual impact of the large recycling bins and hopes the move will improve health and safety concerns about large collection and delivery vehicles and the constant stream of pedestrians.
Anyone with thoughts on the matter is urged to contact the clerk, Debbie Harding by email at clerk@coldencommon.hants.gov.uk or by contacting the parish office on 01962 713700 no later than the end of this month.
