Police search for car thieves following Winchester burglary

POLICE are appealing from witnesses after a burglar stole a car in Winchester.

The keys to the victim’s grey Mercedes A220 AMG sport were taken after a house in Harestock was broken into last Tuesday (June 24).

The car was taken from the driveway at an address on Priors Dean Road between 2-3.30am.

Detective Constable Marcus Baker from Winchester police station said: "I would like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious people or vehicles in the area or perhaps saw the stolen vehicle being driven away during the early hours of Tuesday, June 24."
