ORGANISERS in Twyford are inviting people to enjoy a succulent gourmet dinner as part of their ongoing fundraising appeal.
Coordinators of Percy’s Pals are hosting a gourmet evening at The Bugle Inn at Twyford on Thursday (July 10) in a bid to raise £6,000 for their cause.
The group aims to buy a new portable CT scanner for Southampton General Hospital in memory of local Richard Percival who was treated there.
The appeal has seen over £95,000 raised since it began last year.
There will be a seven course tasting menu starting with champagne and canapés finishing with cheese and port. Tickets cost £140 per person which includes specially selected wine with each course but tickets without wine cost £100.
Owner of the Bugle, Lenny Carr-Roberts, said: “As an active member of Percy's Pals, I'm delighted to host a second gourmet evening. The first one in March was a sell-out, and we managed to raise £5000 for the charity.”
A range of local ingredients will be used throughout the dishes from such suppliers as Laverstoke Park Far, Chef’s Delight, Danebury Vineyards and Premier Fish.
