IT’S not every day a renowned actor comes to Winchester to do some promotional work.

TV comic Robert Powell, best known for the title role in Jesus of Nazareth, was spotted in the Black Boy doing a bit of filming last week (July 23).

The Holby City actor was promoting local communication agency Remarkable.

The group have launched a new content marketing division depicted by Mr Powell with his reading of How Content became King.

Stephen Pomeroy, chief executive of Remarkable, said: “We are delighted to enlist the support of Robert Powell for the launch, who tells the Remarkable story with such charisma and charm; it really is an enticing tale.

“The Black Boy in Winchester was the perfect characterful setting!”

I suggest Lauren Howard bones up on the subject of her article. As has been mentioned already Robert Powell is not a comic but an actor. He may have appeared in a comedy role at some time but that does not make him a comic.
