A POPULAR Alresford actress was not afraid to muck in to spread the word about her mass charity walk.
Sarah Parish donned wellies at Longdown Dairy Farm in Ashurst yesterday.
The star of BBC drama Atlantis got stuck in to a variety of tasks including bottle feeding calves, grooming horses and the not so glamorous roles including bottle mucking out a pig pen.
Sarah was there to tell families about her forthcoming charity walk in aid of the Southampton Children’s Hospital which is set to open in 2020 featuring a new intensive care unit for youngsters across the south.
The event, at Southampton Common on September 7, is being organised by the Murray Parish Trust – a charity she set up with husband Jim Murray following the death of their baby girl Ella-Jayne five years ago following a congenital heart defect.
They are raising cash for the Friends of PICU charity which is helping fund the unit.
