A TALK about the huge contribution by women to the work of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution through the decades will be held at Winchester’s Hyde Parish Hall at 7.30pm on Saturday, October 4.
Speaker Sue Hennessy will talk about her years working for the charity between 1991 and 2004, during which she founded the Lifeboat Training College in Poole.
Tickets costing £10, and which include a Ploughman’s supper, are available by emailing Paula Hughes at Paula@mjhplace.co.uk.
There will be a licensed bar and all funds raised for will go towards the RNLI.
