TODDLERS from a Winchester nursery brought some Christmas cheer to a care home for patients with dementia.
Sixteen three and four-year-olds from Tops Winchester day nursery, entertained residents at St Catherines View home with a set of festive favourites including Jingle Bells and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
The care home’s activity organiser Chloe Hickman said: “We love having children over to visit and their singing went down really well with the residents. Everyone got in the festive mood very quickly.”
Kayleigh Moss from Tops Winchester, said: “The children enjoyed being the centre of attention and sharing our Christmas wishes and songs. They also lapped up the juice and biscuits afterwards!”
