THE annual Classic Car Rally returns to Twyford Waterworks this Sunday.

Dozens of cars are set to visit the waterworks on Hazeley Road.

As well as the rally you can see how the plans are going for a Return To Steam following the boiler rebuild and also the rebuild of the 1934 Ruston diesel which is due to be run at the October Open Day.

The narrow-gauge railway will be running at the top of the site where visitors can view the Wildlife pond and Nature Walk or view the lime kilns, a unique feature of the waterworks.

A Guided Tour takes visitors around the site explaining the workings of an Edwardian Waterworks and pointing out things of interest you may otherwise miss.

All this plus a tea-room and barbecue for £5 entry (kids under 16 free).
