A severe weather warning for flooding and lightning has been issued for Southampton and Hampshire today.
Met Office forecasters have warned of potential thunder storms bringing downpours to hit the region today.
They have issued a “yellow” be prepared warning for Hampshire for today, tomorrow and Friday.
It comes just a week after flash floods brought motoring chaos and road closures to Southampton.
A statement said: “Although many areas will probably miss them, scattered but potentially intense thundery downpours seem likely to affect parts of the warning area from late Wednesday and through Thursday.
“Please be aware of possible localised "medium" impacts from either flooding or frequent lightning.”
