Char's smashed window after the incident early today
POLICE are investigating a late night brawl between two groups of people in the centre of Winchester.
The fight happened outside Char on Winchester High Street last night.
Char had its front window smashed in theincident.
Police would not say how many people were involved in the fight which happened at 3.15am.
One man suffered an injured hand but refused medical treatment and no arrests were made.
A police spokesman said by the time police arrived the fighting had stopped, but they are appealing for witnesses.
Anyone who saw the fight is urged to speak to PC Tony Browne at Winchester Police Station.
