FORMER Saints star Wayne Bridge is ready to swap creature comforts for creepy critters.
The former left back who also played for Chelsea and Manchester City is jungle-bound, ready to be part of the line-up for "I'm a Celebrity.... Get Me Out of Here".
The 36-year-old former England left-back will join the likes of Diversity dancer Jordan Banjo, comedian Joel Dommett, former Strictly Come Dancing professional Ola Jordan, actor Larry Lamb, Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt, Team GB hockey gold medalist Sam Quek, model and TV presenter Lisa Snowdon, Emmerdale’s Adam Thomas, and maths wizard and TV presenter, Carol Vorderman.
Wayne follows fellow footballers John Fashanu, Neil Ruddock, Jimmy Bulard and Kieron Dyer onto the top-rated show on ITV hosted by Ant and Dec.
Bridge, who was brought through Saints' academy, was born in Southampton but moved to Oliver's Battery near Winchester and attended Oliver's Battery Primary and Kings' School.
