WINCHESTER Big Issue seller Kevin Collick has left a High Street tribute in Winchester to the 22 people killed in a horrific terror attack in Manchester.

The tribute, which is situated at the spot where he sells the magazine, was done on Tuesday - a day after Salman Abidi carried out the atrocity.

The tribute says: "Manchester or Winchester we all stand together."

Mr Collick,44, from Kings Worthy told the Chronicle: "I was devestated when I saw it on the news, I had to explain what happened to my 12-year-old."

"It could have been anyone of us, we are all affected, no matter what colour, what religion or where you're from.

"These people are against all of us, they re against every one of us.

"They want to change our way of life but there are more of us then them and we will pull together as one."

Hampshire Chronicle:

He said he has not and will not accept any money from people who offer him cash after seeing the tribute.

On the tribute, there are flowers to remember each one of the 22 victims of the attack, which happened after an Ariana Grande concert at the MEN Arena on Monday night.

Since the attack, counter terror police have made 10 arrests, and the threat level has been raised to critical.

Armed police have also been seen in cities across the UK including Winchester.
