A THIEF has admitted stealing vast quantities of haircare and grooming products from Boots has been ordered to pay thousands in compensation
Daniel Barreira Craig, 28, admitted three counts of theft.
On May 4 he stole goods valued at £906 from Boots in Winchester; on the same day in Basingstoke he stole goods valued at £2,205.65; and on April 19 from the Basingstoke store he took products valued at £2,968.57.
In total the products, shampoos, gels, conditioners and tools, were valued at £6,080.22, magistrates in Basingstoke heard.
Craig, of Wootton Gardens, Bournemouth, was ordered to pay £3,500 in compensation, a £40 fine and was jailed for four months but sentence suspended for 12 months.
