ROAD safety was on the agenda at Littleton and Harestock Parish Council.
In a parish council meeting in June, it was heard that a pedestrian was struck by a car on Main Road next to the Running Horse pub.
The incident was reported to Hampshire County Council and Hampshire Constabulary, and now councillors are looking to put pressure on Hampshire County Council to help improve road safety.
Vice chairman of Littleton and Harestock Parish council John Biddlecombe said that the issue has been ongoing. He said that the parish council want there to be a footpath in place to prevent accidents.
He said that there has been increased signage by the authority but called for further measures.
