Winchester lesiure club postpones consultation on plans for Cattle Market car park
A Winchester leisure club’s plan to redevelop the Cattle Market car park remains a mystery after a public viewing was postponed.
The Winchester Club was due to host a consultation into their plans to develop their site and the nearby council car park last Monday (March 26).
Club treasurer Barry Ennever said the consultation had been postponed but a new date will be advertised on the club website, thewinchesterclub.org.uk/redevelopment.shtml, as soon as it is confirmed.
The club has been approached by a developer to build a new club, housing and a hotel on the land between Andover Road and Worthy Lane.
