Overnight closures on major road near Winchester
THE northbound A34 will be closed between A33 Winchester Bypass and Three Maids Hill overnight from tonight, Monday April 16, to Thursday April 19.
The closures of the A34 northbound between Kings Worthy and Three Maids Hill and the A33 Kings Worthy over the coming nights will allow bridge maintenance to be carried out.
The closures, ten in total, will take place Monday to Friday only, between 10pm-6am, when traffic flows are lowest.
The A33 Winchester Bypass will be closed from its divide with the A34 to the B3047 London Road from Friday April 20 to Wednesday April 25. There will be no closures on Saturday or Sunday night.
Both roads will be closed separately on Thursday and Friday April 26-27 for around three hours each.
Clearly signed diversion routes will be in place during the closures.
