Winchester Churches Nightshelter is inviting residents to its AGM next week.

The homeless charity is holding the meeting at St Peter’s Church Hall in Jewry Street on Wednesday, October 17, from 6.45pm.

After the AGM there will be a series of talks based around the theme ‘Moving on from Homelessness’.

Speakers include past and present users of the shelter, representatives from other Winchester homeless charities Emmaus, West View and Keystone as well as Steve Tong, head of housing at the city council.
