Southampton Diving Academy's Chris Mears finished sixth alongside Nick Robinson-Baker in the men's springboard synchro at the World Series event in China.
The pair posted a score of 375.57 on the opening day of the competition, in Beijing.
Olympic duo Becky Gallantree and Alicia Blagg's best international performance earned them a silver medal in the springboard synchro, as they beat world-class company to post a score of 305.79 and finish only behind Chinese duo Shi Tingmao and Wi Minxia.
Gallantree and Blagg, seventh at last year's London Olympics, had never claimed a World Series medal together before today.
On a busy opening day for Gallantree the City of Leeds diver also finished sixth alongside Jenny Cowan in the platform synchro.
Hosts China scooped all three gold medals on offer to start the three-day meet at the Water Cube.
