Former Portsmouth boss Steve Cotterill has been named as the new manager of Bristol City.
Cotterill, 49, who managed at Fratton Park during the Championship season in 2010/11, has agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal at Ashton Gate.
Since the departure of Sean O’Driscoll, City, currently 23rd in the table, have been looking for a new boss.
The former Nottingham Forest boss replaces O’Driscoll, who replaced Cotterill at the City Ground last campaign before leaving for Bristol.
O'Driscoll left the club after 10 months on Thursday, with the club having won only two league games this term.
