Hampshire’s rising darts star Nathan Street has been called up to the England Youth squad.

The talented 16-year-old will be part of the team in the forthcoming British Internationals.

Street, aptly nicknamed Quality, will take on opponents from Scotland and Wales in Halifax on April 4-6 and looking to impress enough for a place in the European Cup later in the year.

The Hampshire youth player, from Alton, is being sponsored by asbestos removal experts the Westfield Group and also turns out for the county’s senior side along with dad Mick.

‘Quality’ has performed well on the youth circuit, winning the Swiss Open, Czech Open and Gibraltar Open as well as losing in the finals of the England Youth National Singles and England Masters Youth in the same weekend.
