Former Tottonians junior David Sisi has moved north.

The former England Under-20s player, who turned 21 this week, has signed for Leeds Carnegie on loan from Bath until the end of the season.

The 6ft 5in back row signed for Bath last year after playing in the successful England U20s side which won the RBS Six Nations and Junior World Championship.

Versatile Sisi can play at both blindside and openside flanker as well as at number eight.

After suffering an ankle injury in pre-season, he made his Bath debut against Cardiff in the LV= Cup and followed this up with a start in a Cup tie against Leicester a week later.

Prior to his move to The Rec, he had played at London Irish. He made 12 appearances for the Exiles and became their youngest-ever debutant aged 17.

Sisi said: “I’m excited to be joining the club and helping them in their bid to achieve a top four finish and hopefully promotion.

“It’s an ambitious club and I'm looking forward to the challenge of playing with them in the Championship.”
