Richard Bland
Stoneham’s Richard Bland produced a flawless first round in the Africa Open to jump to the top of the leaderboard.
The Southampton professional shot seven-under-par at East London Golf Club, in South Africa, putting him into a tie for the early lead.
Bland, who is chasing his first ever European Tour win, eagled the par-five third, before finding five birdies on the back nine.
The 41-year-old is due to start his second round at 11.20am UK time tomorrow.
