Adam Church claimed the game’s top check-out when he nailed a 170 finish in the Waterside Charity Men’s League.
The British Legion A player struck with the magical game shot in his side’s 7-2 win at Jolly Sailor in Division 2, wriotes Clive Downton.
Ian Hill checked out on 149 for RBL B as the three-dart finishes continued and there was a 118 game shot for Hythe Club B’s Carl Thompson.
Their latest victims were third-placed Totton Rec – Eastleigh FC are tucked in second place, five points off the lead. They also provided the best finish this week with a 130 game shot from Andy Cavill.
Freemantle, Shirley & District: Dorchester A & B continue to dominate Division 1 but best finishes came from other parts of the league.
Leading the way was Karl Thornton, who checked out on 154 for King George. There was a 114 game shot for teammate Adam Dunn, a 107 finish from Bob Jennings of Drummond and a 104 by Terry Greenough of Park Inn B.
Veteran Kim Osborne hit a 14-dart leg for Saints A and Adam Dunn needed 15 darts to claim a leg for King George – as did the pairing of Liam Ridout and Andy Portelli of Dorchester A.
Itchen & District League: Quality arrows were thrown throughout the league’s Pat Martin singles – with Sam Freemantle coming out top for Peartree.
Freemantle defeated The Vine’s Dave Bonnett in the final while Spike’s Paul Neary got the better of Roll Call’s Pete Broomfield in the Plate final.
Spike’s Cliff Mould hit three 180s during the competition and a 120 finish while Dave Witts checked out on 118 for Bitterne RBL.
Freemantle hit a 104 finish and had a 14-dart leg and there was a 15-darter for Grove’s Adam Lea.
Bishop’s Waltham & District League: Craig Harrington & Joanne Senior made it through to the final of the mixed pairs where they will face Salterns teammates Wayne Paddington & Jane Monaghan.
Eastleigh & District League: Greg Cheesebrough defeated Lionel Webster to win the league’s singles competition.
Best finish came from M Dunkinson with a splendid 160 finish for Arrow while teammate M Hunt hit a 15-dart leg.
