Corhampton's Scott Gregory has reached the semi-finals of the English Amateur Championship.
The Hampshire star birdied the 18th hole at Saunton to win his match against Southport & Ainsdale's Sean Blinkhorn this morning.
That 1up success booked a meeting with Jack Cardy, of Ipswich, this afternoon.
The winner of that clash will face either Huddersfield's Nick Marsh or Royal Mid-Surrey's Oscar Granstrom-Livesey in tomorrow's final.
Gregory is the last remaining Hampshire player in the draw, but it has been a strong week for the county at the prestigious tournament.
Hayling's Jamie Mist made it to the quarter-finals, but lost by one hole to Granstrom-Livesey.
The 2012 champion, Meon Valley's Harry Ellis, advanced as far as the last 16 this time round, but was also beaten by the same opponent.
Rowlands Castle's Billy McKenzie also made it through to the match play stages, but lost to Blinkhorn in the second knockout round.
