Fareham will have two new faces in their side for Saturday’s England Hockey Western Conference opener against newly promoted Barford Tigers at Henry Cort, 1.30.
Midfielder Gurmukh Bhamra has joined from relegated neighbours Havant, while Josh Godfrey’s arrival from Exeter University is expected to boost Fareham’s previously shallow goal-scoring resources.
On the debit side, former/coach Shaun Baker has joined Team Bath and will play against his former Fareham team-mates next weekend.
Alex Boxall has taken on the Fareham captaincy.
