LOCKS Heath suffered their second nine-goal humiliation of the season yesterday.

Thrashed 9-0 by AFC Stoneham on Bank Holiday Monday towards the end of last month, Locks lost by the same scoreline to holders Baffins Milton Rovers in the first round of the Puma Engineering Hampshire League Cup.

The Portsmouth club, who won both league and cup last term, boasted two hat-trick heroes in Blu Boam and Jason Parrish.

Baffins, who have begun the defence of their league title with ten straight wins, also netted through George Stares (2) and Tyler Moret.

Hedge End Rangers came from two goals down to win 5-3 at fellow Premier Division outfit Bush Hill.

Perry Harding and Terry Parker put Bush 2-0 ahead inside the first 16 minutes, but Rangers – with only one league win to their name this season so far – hit back through Dan Turner (pen), Mat Hawkes, Matt Hayes and two strikes from Dave Goble. Harding replied with his second of the tie.

Hamble Club, with seven wins from eight league games so far, suffered a surprise 3-2 exit at Clanfield.

Goals from Harry Potter (2) and Oli Amos put the hosts 3-0 up before Richard Bull and Liam Crook replied.

Colden Common won 3-1 at AFC Petersfield with all their goals in the first half from Oli Dobson (2) and Lewis Bridge.

Cadnam United strolled to a 7-2 success at Upham with goals from Liam Hanlon (2), Leon Tatavossian (2), Adam Jones (2) and Nick Davis.

Stockbridge needed extra time before beating lower tier Andover Lions 3-1 thanks to goals from Lee Hamilton (2) and Jazz Beavis. Tom Gilbert had put Lions into a half-time lead in normal time.

Second tier Netley Central shocked top flight QK Southampton 3-1, with Mike Mullen, Simon Waters and Matt Journeaux all scoring. Craig Johnston had levelled for QK.

John Cole struck twice as AFC Stoneham caned Four Marks 5-1, Martin Rogers, Ben Clarke and Sam Adams also on target.

Tom Sands and Steve Hall struck in each half as Otterbourne won 2-0 at second tier leaders Infinity.

Winchester Castle won 4-1 at Michelmersh with Dean Higgins, Liam Nancholas, Tom Johnson and Stuart Findlay all netting. Daryl Winter replied.

The only game in Division 1 of the Hampshire League saw Shane Vidler fire a hat-trick in Broughton’s 4-1 home win over Lyndhurst. Callum Sweeney had opened the scoring.
