Dani King collects gold with her team mates
HAMPSHIRE’S Olympic star Dani King struck gold on the opening night of the British Track Championships in Manchester.
Along with fellow London 2012 gold stars Laura Trott and Joanna Rowsell and Elinor Barker, King won the women’s team pursuit title for Wiggle Honda.
The quartet successfully defended their title in four minutes 24.903 seconds.
Pearl Izumi, featuring world champion Katie Archibald and 11-time Paralympic champion Sarah storey, finished with silver and VC St Raphael bronze.
