A WINCHESTER cricket club has raised nearly £500 for charity.
The Royal Hampshire County Hospital Cricket Club raised £422 for the Stroke Association to help the charity fund research and support to people affected by the condition.
Cricket team organiser and A&E charge nurse Ian Rentell joined with Stroke Association area manager Garry Jopling as well as Nigel Smyth, a consultant stroke physician at RHCH who led the match.
