Tottonians and Winchester continue their pursuit of London 2 South-West leaders London Cornish tomorrow.

And both of the Hampshire sides face opposition from the relegation zone.

Winchester travel to rock bottom Farnham but refuse to take victory for granted as they look for their sixth win in a row.

Coach Andy Fields, pictured below, said: “We are fully aware that nothing comes easy in London South-West 2. Each week sees a surprising result and it’s our job to make sure we are not ambushed by teams from below us.

“Farnham picked up another win at the weekend and seem to be finding their feet in the division.”

Winch club captain Matt Lown will be unavailable for a few weeks due to the arrival of twins.

Jerry Alfandari hopes to fill his spot in the second row and Johnny Morris returns at full-back.

Farnham have won two games this term, the same number as Tadley who travel from Berkshire to Tottonians.

Totts had a brief spell at the top of the table and are keen not to allow Cornish to edge too far ahead before the clubs face each other in a couple of weeks.

Dan Stocks comes back for the Tadley clash at Number 8 and Alistair Ramus slots back into the second row, while Bart van Herwijnen returns to full back.

Head coach Gavin Williams said: “Bart is really important because we know they have good ten.

“Bart is an exceptional organiser of the backs and that will be really important.

“Tadley have won their last two and, against Old Alleynians, quite convincingly. We are anticipating a bit of a battle as they need to win and will be confident but the side we have out is strong.

“Ideally we would like to be getting a bonus point win so that it will be a top of the table clash with Cornish in a couple of weeks.”

Eastleigh are back on top of London 3 South-West – and that is where they intend to stay.

The ‘on-form’ Bishopstoke Road side toppled Old Tiffinians a week ago and head for London to take on lowly Teddington.

Vice captain Russell Smith said: “Last week we really were on-form. The opening 15 minutes was some of the best rugby Eastleigh have played in terms of physicality, pace and decision making.”

However, Smith knows from experience that Eastleigh will have to be on their toes at Teddington.

He added: “Whether a team is top of the table or bottom they have to be decent to be in this league – every game is a tough one.”

John Weatherall is unavailable for Eastleigh and Nick Blake is out with a neck injury.

Struggling Trojans have a home game against fifth-placed London Exiles while Andover, who sit fourth and are the league’s highest points scorers, host fellow Hampshire side New Milton & District.

l Eastleigh RFC have named a strong second XV to face Channel Island side St Jacques at Bishopstoke Road tomorrow with the kick-off brought forward to 1.30pm.
