A NEWLY-FORMED Hampshire-based cycling team impressed in the South of England Regional Cyclocross Championships.
Eden Veranda Racing, based in Winchester, were only established in January of this year.
The team is involved in both road and cyclocross events and has been participating in the Wessex Cross Country League.
The team is currently sitting in second position in this league.
The South of England Championships, which took place in Devon, included races for the under-eights, under-tens, under-12s, youth, junior/vet/women and seniors.
Melissa Cooper won her under-ten section, while Madeline Cooper was first in the under-12 age group.
There was victory also for Abbie Manley in the youth girl (under-14/16) category, while Joe Andrews was first under-23.
Charlie Cooper was third youth boy (U16).
