Hedge End’s Steve Perren was in tremendous form to win this week’s Southampton Darts Series.
Perren clocked up eight maximums on his way to the final where he defeated Millbrook’s Greg Cheesebrough 6-4, who also threw quality darts all evening.
The 301 straight-in format produced 33 ton-plus finishes with Dave Hayes and Colin Littlecott shining on the check-out front.
Hayes finished legs on 158, 106 and 101 while Littlecott hit game shots of 145 and 136.
Totton’s Graham chalk won the Plate competition when he beat Sholing’s Kev Woodward 3-1.
Bradley Kirk still heads the overall points table with 46 and his 20 maximums puts him well in front with the most 180s.
