Hampshire tyro Brad Taylor starred as England Under-19s secured a series-levelling win against Australia at Worcester.
The off-spinner hit the winning runs as England chased down Australia’s 294-6 to win by three wickets with two balls to spare.
Earlier, Winchester-born Taylor conceded just 27 from his ten overs, easily the most economical spell from either side, while Essex’s Dan Lawrence scored his second hundred of the series.
Hampshire leg-spin sensation Mason Crane was rested.
The five match 50-overs series was drawn 2-2, with Taylor’s lower-order runs putting him second in the England averages (64) as well as being his country’s second top wicket-taker with five.
Two years ago Taylor became Hampshire's youngest player since 1867.
