SIX Sydenhams Premier Division clubs will be making an early start to the 2016/17 FA Cup campaign.
Three all-Wessex extra preliminary round fixtures – Fawley AFC v AFC Portchester, Lymington Town v Hamworthy Utd (at New Milton Town FC) and Sholing v Bournemouth Poppies – will kick off at 7.45pm on Friday, August 5.
The rest of the participating Sydenhams clubs will play their ties on Saturday, August 6 (3pm).
All told, 736 clubs from Premier League down have entered this year’s competition which will culminate at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, May 27, 2017 (kick-off time to be decided).
