HOLDERS Team Solent will begin their next defence of the Southampton Senior Cup on home territory.

James Taylor’s Southampton Solent University side battered Blackfield & Langley 5-0 at St Mary’s in April to lift the trophy for the second year running.

Their pursuit of a treble will kick off in the second round this season when the winners of the first round tie between Nursling and Hythe & Dibden visit Test Park.

Losing finalists Blackfield will entertain either Netley Central Sports or Southampton University.
