TUESDAY night's non-League round-up

AFC TOTTON’s poor start to the Southern One  South & West season continued last night when they were thrashed 6-1 at home by Larkhall Athletic.

The Bath-based visitors led 4-0 at the Testwood Stadium at half-time and had completed their half-dozen haul by the time sub Nick Watts replied late on.

Watts had come on in the first half for the injured Dylan Knight.

Tom Knighton led the visiting goal spree with a first-half hat-trick in front of a crowd of 184.

WINCHESTER City also suffered a miserable night in Division One South & West, beaten 4-0 at Didcot.

The Railwaymen were reduced to ten men after just 13 minutes due to a red card for Andy Ballard. But they were already ahead by then and doubled the lead shortly after.

City had a chance to reduce the arrears before half-time, but Sam Wilson missed a penalty.

Didcot made Ian Saunders’ City pay with two more goals in the second half.

ALEX Oxlade-Chamberlain’s younger brother was on target as Salisbury thrashed Bishops Cleeve in the Southern League Division 1 South & West tonight.

Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain, on loan from Portsmouth, netted alongside Justin Bennett (2) and Sutton loanee Tommy Wright in a 4-1 home victory.

BLACKFIELD & Langley are top of the Sydenhams Wessex Premier again after a 3-0 home win over Hamworthy United.

Goals from Liam Robinson (2) and Sam Poole lifted the Watersiders two points clear of Portland, who had gone top by winning 4-2 at Team Solent on Monday.

Sholing could have joined Blackfield at the top, but they lost 3-2 at Moneyfields after twice leading through Nick Yeomans and Zac Mouland.
