STEVE Claridge’s Salisbury made a winning FA Cup debut today, demolishing Bitton AFC 5-0 in front of a 561 Ray Mac crowd.
Justin Bennett plundered a hat-trick to go with one apiece for Lewis Benson and Tommy Wright.
Bennett’s treble made it five in two matches for the former Gosport Borough hot-shot and six for the season so far, while Sutton United loanee Wright has netted five in five for the Whites.
Salisbury now host Frome Town in the first qualifying round on Saturday, September 3.
