Former Eastleigh manager Chris Todd could be about to revive his playing career.
The 35-year-old was sacked as manager of Eastleigh last month and is now training with one of his former clubs, Torquay United.
Whilst there has been no discussions over the Welshman signing a deal to play for Eastleigh's National League rivals, it is believed he is keen to resume his playing career.
Based in Devon, Todd recently trained with League One Bristol Rovers.
Torquay boss Kevin Nicholson said: "Chris has asked to train with us and I am pleased to have him along.
"We haven't talked about anything more than just training at the moment but at the very least he will be a good influence on the lads."
Torquay are due to visit Eastleigh on October 25.
